Welcome to Episode 15 of The Doctor Coach School™ Podcast.
When I say I am so excited for today’s episode, it is because I have the immense honor and privilege of interviewing one of the coaches inside of DCS.
Dr. Michelle Hepburn is a board-certified Pediatrician, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and currently serves as an Attending Physician and Medical Director of her practice at a world-renowned Children’s Hospital.
She was born and raised in The Bronx New York with a culture rooted in Jamaican heritage. She grew up in a multi-generational family that was always on the move with outdoor adventures, family trips or vacations, and playing outside all day with neighborhood friends. In the evenings, the kitchen and dining table were the center of the home in every way. It was the time to watch Mom and Grandmom cook traditional Jamaican dishes or venture out with making a variety of other cuisines. They would eat dinner together, talk about their day, and laugh.
She still cherishes the days of her childhood and brings much of her family upbringing to present day, with a life enriched with family, friends, food, and laughter.
She enjoys quiet time alone to read, cook, and bake. They all love most any outdoor adventure together such as hiking, biking, kayaking, white water rafting, and zip lines. With her family of 4, she has a goal of traveling to all 50 states together, taking in a new experience and cuisine, in each state.
Dr. Michelle’s story is so fascinating. What you will take from this episode is how what you’ve been through in your life can really inform the type of coach you are and what you coach on.
Let’s get into it.
