Admissions & Eligibility
Who is this program for?
The Doctor Coach School™ Certification is designed for licensed clinical doctors: MD, DO, DDS, DMD, DNP, PharmD, PsyD, or PhD in Clinical Psychology.
Do I need prior coaching experience to apply?
No prior coaching experience is required. The program trains clinical doctors from the ground up in transformational coaching, aligned with ICF and CCE standards.
Can other healthcare providers apply?
No. Enrollment is limited to the clinical doctoral degrees listed above.
When do applications close?
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Enrollment will close once the cohort reaches capacity.
What happens after I apply?
Applications are reviewed by the admissions team. Approved applicants are invited to an admissions call where fit is confirmed, questions are addressed, and enrollment is finalized.
Can I reapply if I’m not accepted?
Yes. Applicants who are not accepted are welcome to reapply for a future cohort.
Do I need to attend an Open House to apply?
No. Open Houses are optional information sessions. Applications can be submitted directly at any time.
What is the tuition?
Tuition for the program is $10,000 USD. Tuition must be paid in full, either upfront or through an approved payment plan.
How long is the program?
The certification program is designed to run for nine (9) months. Students have a maximum of eighteen (18) months from enrollment to complete all requirements. Extensions beyond eighteen months are not permitted unless expressly granted in writing.
What is included in tuition?
Tuition covers access to pre-recorded teaching modules, weekly live Skills Labs, weekly Mindset Coaching calls, peer coaching partnerships, mentor coaching in Phase 3, access to the private online community, and the certification evaluation process.
Program Structure & Experience
What does a typical week in the program include?
Each week includes pre-recorded teaching modules, a live Skills Lab for observed coaching practice, and a live Mindset Coaching call. Students also meet with their assigned peer coach.
How much time should I plan to dedicate each week?
On average, students spend 5–7 hours per week engaging with program materials, live sessions, and peer coaching. Additional time may be required during evaluation or client-coaching phases.
What if I cannot attend a live session?
Live attendance is required to meet certification standards. Students must attend at least 80% of live sessions in Phase 1, and at least 50% in later phases. Replays are available for teaching components only.
What support is provided?
Students receive live coaching labs, mentor coaching, structured peer coaching, and written and verbal feedback at key checkpoints.
Will I retain access to the materials after graduation?
Yes. Graduates retain access to the core teaching modules and resources.
Coaching Requirements
Is signing a client required to graduate?
Yes. Certification requires coaching a client through transformation as part of Phase 3.
How is coaching evaluated?
Students must submit a recorded coaching session with a client. The session is evaluated against ICF PCC markers and the program’s internal rubric, which is provided in advance.
What happens if a requirement is not met?
Students receive ongoing feedback throughout the program. In the event a requirement is not met, guidance is provided on options for additional practice or evaluation.
Certification & Credentials
How does the program align with ICF and CCE standards?
The curriculum is designed to align with ICF Core Competencies and CCE (BCC) requirements. The school is actively pursuing formal accreditation.
Will this certification count toward an ICF credential?
Yes. Once accreditation is finalized, training hours completed in the program may be applied toward ICF credentialing.
What distinguishes this certification from other coach training programs?
This program integrates coaching mastery with business development. Students graduate with the skill to coach transformationally and the ability to sign and serve clients with confidence.
Logistics & Financials
Are payment plans offered?
Yes. Payment plans are available.
Do you offer scholarships or financial aid?
No scholarships are offered at this time.
What is your refund policy?
Tuition is non-refundable. Enrollment is final and non-transferable.
Is tuition tax-deductible or reimbursable?
In many cases, yes. Coaching certification is often considered a professional development expense. Students should confirm with their accountant or employer.
Professional Alignment for Physicians
How does this certification compare to CME or other medical training?
This certification is not CME. It is a professional coaching certification built to align with ICF and CCE standards. It is designed to complement, not replace, clinical training.
Will this program count toward board certification or MOC?
No. This program is not affiliated with medical boards or MOC requirements.
Do I need malpractice coverage for coaching?
No. Coaching is distinct from clinical practice and does not require malpractice coverage. Students must adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics.
Can I coach patients directly?
No. Coaching is not clinical care. Graduates are trained to coach clients, not provide medical treatment.
Career Outcomes
What type of coaches does the program certify?
Graduates are certified as transformational coaches trained to coach through the full arc of belief, presence, and client transformation.
Will I be prepared to sign clients by the end of the certification?
Yes. Signing and coaching a client is a built-in requirement. The program includes client acquisition training and practicum coaching.
Can this certification be applied in a corporate or leadership context?
Yes. While the Entrepreneur Track emphasizes business development, the skills are directly transferable to leadership and institutional settings.
